As COVID Cases Decline in India Citizens can now Travel to Russia, Turkey and Other Countries

After a long battle with the devastating second wave of COVID-19, several nations have opened their doors to Indian travelers as coronavirus infections continue to fall in India.

Travelers from India can now fly to Turkey, which is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. Tourists, on the other hand, must adhere to a severe 14-day COVID quarantine regime upon arrival. Furthermore, on the fourteenth day, travelers will be subjected to an RT-PCR test and will be allowed to leave the quarantine facility if the results are negative.

Russia has also opened its doors to Indian tourists. You can apply for a single-entry or double-entry tourist visa that is valid for up to 30 days. Keep in mind that visitors entering the nation must have a COVID-19 PCR test result that is negative at least 72 hours prior to arrival.

Indians can now travel to Egypt. Tourists arriving in the Red Sea coastal governorates of South Sinai and Matrouh are currently restricted from traveling to other governorates in Egypt. On arrival in Egypt, travelers will be subjected to health checks and must complete a health statement. From August 15 onwards, all passengers will be required to present a negative RT-PCR test that is no older than 72 hours, according to sources.

If you’re traveling to Serbia, keep in mind that you’ll need to give a negative RT-PCR test taken up to 48 hours before departure. Passengers under the age of 12 are not permitted. All travelers arriving in Iceland must have a valid vaccination certificate and a negative PCR test. A COVID-19 screening test will be performed at the border upon arrival, however, individuals who test negative will be excused from quarantine. You must, however, be completely Vaccinated with EU-approved vaccines, including AstraZeneca’s Covishield. Any Indian citizen who is traveling to a CIS country (except Russia) and has a valid visa for that country is entitled to visit Uzbekistan. Travelers must, however, submit a negative PCR test done within 72 hours of their arrival in the nation. Quarantine or self-isolation for a period of 14 days is required.

Rwanda is open to any Indian national traveling to any African country with a valid visa. In terms of COVID requirements, all travelers traveling in Rwanda must fill out a passenger locator form and upload a copy of their negative COVID-19 test certificate prior to their arrival. Upon arrival, all passengers must go to a government-approved hotel for a COVID-19 exam.
