Chandrapur: Three killed as 2 bikes collide head-on

Three of the four people riding on two motorcycles were killed, while one was critically injured after the two-wheelers collided head-on near Pardi village in Korpana tehsil on Wednesday afternoon.

CHANDRAPUR: Three of the four people riding on two motorcycles were killed, while one was critically injured after the two-wheelers collided head-on near Pardi village in Korpana tehsil on Wednesday afternoon.
The deceased include Bahadu Soyam (37), Vishwas Bhutade (40) and Raju Solanki (34), while the injured has been identified as Mustakin Sheikh (18).
Sources informed that Soyam and Bhutade were riding a bike which collided with an oncoming motorcycle being driven by Raju Solanki near Shiv temple close to Pardi village on Korpana-Adilabad highway.
The dash was so severe that all four were thrown off the two-wheelers and sustained grievous injuries.
While Soyam, Bhutade and Solanki died on the spot, Sheikh riding pillion with Solanki suffered severe injuries.
Korpana police rushed to the spot and shifted Sheikh to Korpana rural hospital.
Bodies of the victims were moved to hospital for postmortem. Korpana police are further investigating.
