Darbhanga blast: Two more LeT terrorists held

National Investigation Agency (NIA) in a joint operation with Shamli police on Friday arrested Haji Saleem and Kafeel Ahmad in connection with the June 17 blast at Darbhanga railway station.

LUCKNOW: National Investigation Agency (NIA) in a joint operation with Shamli police on Friday arrested Haji Saleem and Kafeel Ahmad in connection with the June 17 blast at Darbhanga railway station.
Nobody was injured in the blast which had taken place in a consignment of clothes which was booked from Secunderabad on June 15. The NIA had taken up the case on June 24 and arrested two accused identified as Nasir Khan and Imran Malik from Hyderabad on June 30.

The NIA said that preliminary investigation in the case has revealed that Haji Saleem is a close associate of Pakistan based Lashkar-e-Taiba operative Iqbal Kana and was acting as a key intermediary between Iqbal Kana and Nasir Khan and Imran Malik.
