DHARMAPURI:
Burglars broke into a Sivan temple in
Dharmapuri town in
Tamil Nadu and decamped with
gold and
silver ornaments worth Rs 2 lakh.
The burglary came to light on Saturday morning when priests came to the temple to perform puja. They found the locks broken. Ornaments kept in lockers and shelves were missing. They immediately alerted the Dharmapuri town police, who rushed to the temple.
The police registered a case and began inquiries.
