West Ham United supporters have travelled to Glasgow ahead of their clash with Celtic and have been filmed chanting in front of a famous Rangers bar.

The footage comes despite the London side having no away tickets for the game due to coronavirus rules.

The Hoops take on the Hammers in a pre-season friendly today at Celtic park.

But despite coronavirus restrictions banning away fans and the daunting 400 mile trip many West Ham fans have made the journey.

Footage circulating online shows a large group gathered outside the Bristol Bar cheering and chanting last night.

More than 18,000 will be allowed into Parkhead today for the clash but no away tickets were made available due to Covid restrictions.

West Ham bosses had warned fans against travelling to Scotland for the game.

A statement from the club read: "No away tickets are available for West Ham United fans, in line with Covid-19 restrictions still in place in Scotland, and supporters are advised not to travel to Glasgow."

The game will be shown on Premier Sports with kick-off at 3pm.
