Solar panels charge in the sun at the Truman Solar Site July 19 near the St. Charles exit on I-70 in Columbia. The solar farm covers 94 acres and will help the city meet its renewable energy goals.

Drive east on Interstate 70 past St. Charles Road. At mile marker 131, look south. You really can't miss it.

A 94-acre solar farm with more than 35,000 solar photovoltaic panels is soaking up the sun's rays.
