GUJRANWALA: PML-N Deputy Secretary Atta Tarar, who was arrested on Sunday night, has been released after being granted bail. The Wazirabad police arrested Atta Tarar along with other PMLN workers when they staged a sit-in in front of the Alipur Chatha Police Station. The police registered a case against them for pressurizing and misbehaving with police officials. On Monday, the police produced Tarar before a magistrate who granted him bail on security bonds worth Rs 30,000. Later, Tarar along with dozens of party workers and leaders reached the PMLN main office in Wazirabad where workers chanted slogans against the government and in favour of the PML-N and played Luddy on drum beats.
