Newcastle United continue their build-up to the new Premier League season with a friendly against League One side Rotherham.

Steve Bruce's side sealed an entertaining 3-2 win over another third tier side, Doncaster, in their previous outing last Friday night.

Goals from Ryan Fraser, Sean Longstaff and Callum Wilson saw off the plucky Yorkshire side in a game that saw more than 3,000 travelling United fans in attendance.

The Magpies are continuing preparations for the new top flight campaign which sees them host West Ham United on the first day of the season.

Ahead of their game with the Millers, here is all you need to know.

Newcastle can expect plenty of support at Rotherham, just like they had at Doncaster

When and where is it?

The game is at Rotherham's AESSEAL New York Stadium on Tuesday, July 27.

Kick-off is 7pm.

How can I watch it?

Neither club will be streaming it live, but NUFC TV will be providing live audio.

Match odds

As is normally the case for pre-season friendlies, no match odds are being offered.

Team news

Newcastle left out Brazilian striker Joelinton and Matt Ritchie against Doncaser.

Joelinton hobbled off after just 18 minutes of the recent friendly defeat to York. Bruce said: "He's got a thigh problem, as you've seen, so we weren't going to risk him. We hope that he's going to join in on Monday."

Matt Ritchie missed Newcastle's last game

As for Ritchie, Bruce added: "Unfortunately, was a little bit stiff this morning after yesterday, and we didn't take any risks. We won't take any risks with any of them. It's pre-season."

Jonjo Shelvey (calf) is also a doubt.
