So another professional team caves in to woke socialist Democrats. The Cleveland Indians will now be called the Guardians. All these years it wasn’t offensive, now it is. Who’s next? Chicago Blackhawks? Atlanta Braves? Maybe the Chicago White Sox? The woke probably call the White Sox that it’s white supremacy or white privilege of oppression. These people need to get a life.

Tinley Park Trustee Diane Galante has to be commended for being the best on the village board. The other trustees and the mayor simply read like robots but Diane expresses common sense, thoughtful commentary on items on the meeting agenda. We need much more common sense on the Tinley Village Board!

Most big cities controlled by Democrats are experiencing significantly increased levels of violence, which will be an issue in the 2022 midterm elections. In reaction, the Biden Administration has announced a federal task force, headed by Attorney General Merrick Garland, to target gun trafficking in major cities, including Chicago. Unfortunately, the soft on crime policies of Democrats like Preckwinkle, Foxx, Judge Evans and others allow violent offenders back on the street. Why would the Feds be anymore successful stopping the flow of guns, which are legal, than they are at stopping illegal drugs?

To Ronald in Oak Lawn. You’re right, business does say give me the money. That’s why they’re in business. Everybody is trying to recuperate from COVID-19. Why don’t you ask a family member or a neighbor to help you out? Businesses have expenses, the drivers have to pay for gas, the businesses have to pay the drivers and the employees and all their supplies. They’re in business for a reason. Quit asking businesses to eat their profits.

Giving water out at polling places is not going to be against the law, but what is going to be against the law is for political parties to give out water while people are waiting in line to vote so they are not swayed, which makes perfect sense, and that’s only within 150 feet which is hardly a long line. Poll workers can give out as much water as you can drink. Why do people twist the facts? Here’s a novel idea, bring your own bottle of water.
