Alienware m15 R5 and Alienware m15 R6 launched in India: Price, features and more

Gaming laptop maker Alienware has launched its m15 R5 and m15 R6 gaming laptops in India.
The Alienware m15 R5 is the company's first Ryzen powered laptop, while the m15 R6 comes with 11th-generation Intel Core processors.
Both the laptops are equipped with Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 series graphics.

The Alienware m15 R5 starts at Rs 1,34,990, while the Alienware m15 R6 starts at Rs 1,59,990.Both the models are available for purchase on Dell’s official website.

As mentioned, Alienware m15 R5 is the company's first laptop to feature an AMD Ryzen R7 5800 H series mobile processor with Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 series graphics. The Alienware r15 R6, on the other hand, is an Intel-based laptop and comes with 11th-generation Core i7 11800H Tiger Lake processor paired with up to RTX 3080 graphics.
The duo comes with a standard Alienware mSeries 4-Zone AlienFX RGB keyboard with 1.7mm key travel which includes anti-ghosting technology. The Alienware HD (1280x720 resolution) camera supports dual-array microphones with Windows Hello IR for biometric experiences.
The laptops are available in two display options -- FHD with 165Hz refresh rate or QHD with 240Hz refresh rate. The screen size on both machines is 15.6-inch. Also, both the displays support ComfortView Plus and TUV certification.
Both machines are enabled with NVIDIA G-Sync and Advanced Optimus technology on the 240Hz display and include a 240W power adapter.
There are a lot of firsts with these two Alienware laptops and the list also includes the first 3200MHz DDR4 memory which is user-upgradable with two SO-DIMM slots.
Apart from that, the laptop features the company's Cryo-Tech cooling technology which according to the company is focused on boosting the performance using load-balanced copper heat pipes and liquid-crystal polymer fans.
The R5 and R6 come with Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650 wireless and an array of ports including an HDMI 2.1 port as well as a 2.5Gbps Ethernet port among others. The R6 also supports Thunderbolt 4 for configurations that use an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or higher.
