Watch: Stranded MP minister rescued by IAF chopper

MP home minister Narottam Mishra had to be rescued by a helicopter of the Indian Air Force from the roof of a panchayat bhawan in flood-hit Datia district. Mishra had taken an SDRF motor boat for his survey of the submerged Kotra village, when the boat developed a snag. The minister, along with nine employees who were already stranded due to the floods, had to take shelter on the roof of the panchayat building.
