Newark Store Sells $100,000 Powerball Lottery Ticket

NEWARK, NJ — A store in Newark sold a Powerball lottery ticket worth $100,000 for the Wednesday, Aug. 4 drawing, officials announced.
According to the New Jersey Lottery, the ticket was sold at Top Shelf Wine & Liquor, 1 Raymond Plaza West in Newark.
The ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball, winning a $50,000 third-tier prize. The ticket was purchased with Power Play, multiplying the prize to $100,000.

The winning numbers were: 05, 21, 32, 36, and 58. The Red Power Ball number was 14. The Multiplier number was 02.
Lottery officials said 29,754 New Jersey players took home an estimated $150,945 in prizes for the Aug. 4 drawing.

The Powerball jackpot rolls to $226 million for the next drawing, which will take place on Saturday, Aug. 7 at 10:59 p.m.
