Two Laborers Dead and One Injured During Construction Work at the US Embassy

On Friday, two labourers died and another was seriously injured while working at a construction site within the US Embassy.

A portion of the structure is under construction, according to police, and the guys were working there in the afternoon when a crane fell on them.

Kanchan (32), Mukesh (33) and Babulal (32), three construction workers, were transported to Primus Hospital, where Kanchan was proclaimed dead on arrival.

Babulal died in the evening during treatment, while Mukesh is still getting treatment.

According to an ACP-level officer from the New Delhi district, the Chanakyapuri police station received a PCR call about the three individuals hurt inside the American Embassy around 1.44 p.m. on Friday. All three are from Rajasthan’s Dausa district and were in Delhi for employment.

The cause of the crane’s fall has yet to be determined, according to police.

The Embassy has been under construction for quite some time.

Police have filed an FIR under IPC sections 288 (negligent conduct in relation to building repairs), 337 (causing harm by endangering life), and 304A (causing harm by endangering life) (causing death by negligence).
