Kaun Banega Crorepati 13: Host Amitabh Bachchan remembers legendary actor Dilip Kumar; mouths his dialogue 'kaun kambakht bardasht karne ke liye peeta hai' from Devdas

The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati started with roll-over contestant Swati Shrilekha, who is a teacher and a HOD of a school from Cuttack, Odisha.

The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati started with roll-over contestant Swati Shrilekha, who is a teacher and a HOD of a school from Cuttack, Odisha. He started the show praising all the sports personalities who brought home medals from Olympics a few days ago. He then talked about Swati and her love for food, especially samosa.
Big B even presented her a plate of samosas before he began the game.
Swati was very happy and excitedly tasted samosas. Mr Bachchan then started the game and presented the question for Rs 40,000 in front of her. She was shown a song from Lagaan and had to guess the musical instrument. The question was: Which instrument is he playing in the video clip played on the screen? Swati guessed the right answer, Ektara and won the amount. Swati then got stuck on the next question and used her third lifeline 'Flip The Question' and selected Entertainment as her subject of interest. The question for Rs 80,000 question was: Which Hindi film does not have a sequel?. Swati answered it correctly and chose Ghajini as answer.
Moving ahead Mr Bachchan spoke to Swati about her personal life and asked her about the reason behind being single. She shared that it's not like that her family or she did not try to find a perfect match, it's just that she was more focussed towards education. She further said that she was a topper in her college and has done Masters in English and Psychology. So whenever a marriage proposal came for her people always body shamed and asked about her weight and not intelligence or heart. She spoke for all the ladies who are single and said that they should not hurry and should wait for their perfect match. Big B applauded Swati's thoughts and praised her.
Swati moved ahead in the game with just one lifeline in hand. She was shown a picture of a novel and had to guess that it was the debut novel of which Indian writer in English. Swati without any hesitation answered the Rs 1,60,0000 question very swiftly and won the amount. She was then asked: According to Dharmasutra, Brahma, Daiva, Arsha, Prajapatya are types of what? Swati once again used her skills and gave the correct answer, Marriages. Big B handed over a cheque of Rs 3,20,000 to her.
Swati shared with Amitabh Bachchan that she wanted to bring her mother along with her for the show, but due to medical reasons she couldn't come with her. She revealed to Mr Bachchan that her mother loves Big B's two films Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Ghum and Bagbhan a lot and whenever this film airs on television, she never cooks food. She further says that she cries while watching those films even though she has watched it for almost 60-70 times. She requests Big B to send a message for her mother and her family. Mr Bachchan once again makes Swati eat the samosas he had offered her while he presents next question before her. Swati uses her last lifeline, Ask the Expert to answer it and with the help of the expert she successfully answers it. The question asked for Rs 6,40,000 was: In February 2021, with which country did India sign an MoU for the construction of Lalander (Shahtoot) Dam? And the answer was: Afghanistan.

Big B then goes on to ask a mythology question to Swati. He reads out the question: According to the Valmiki Ramayana, Sag Kapila burnt sixty thousands sons of which king by the fire of his eyes? As Swati has no lifeline left, she decides to quit the game.
Swati tells Mr Bachchan that she started her career from a very small school and she never had amount in lakhs as her bank balance so money plays a very important role in her life. The answer for the question was Sagar. She leaves the show happily.
Mr Bachchan then goes to announce the next question for Fastest Finger First Triple Test but before he can do it, he is showered with lots of flying kisses from a female fan from the audience. Mr Bachchan could not help but just blush and laugh over it. He tells the audience that there is an 81-year-old contestant competing for Fastest Finger First Triple Test, who is the oldest contestant in the history of KBC. He introduces him to the audience and reveals his name as Suresh.
The next contestant, who made it to the hot seat was Nimish Ahirwar. A Sub-Inspector from Madhya Pradesh, Nimisha gets overwhelmed as she gets selected and is unable to breathe. She requests Mr Bachchan if she could just talk to her husband once before beginning the game. They both hug each other and cry. Big B plays a video about Nimisha and goes on to talk about how she is an inspiration for the girls from her region as she is a Sub-Inspector. He jokes with Nimisha that they have been watching Nimisha since last two days and she came across a shy, quiet lady, but he never knew she was a police officer. He says now he is scared of her and will have to salute her before asking every question. Big B starts the game with her and she easily reaches the first hurdle of Rs 10,000 question. As she is unsure, Nimisha takes help of 50-50 lifeline.
The question was: Which film character says, "Kaun kambakht bardaasht karne ko peeta hai?" The answer was: Devdas Mukhejee.
Mr Bachchan then mouths the famous dialogue from Shah Rukh Khan's film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He also informs everyone that though the dialogue is from SRK's film, it was Dilip Kumar who made it popular. He shares that the legendary actor had said the dialogue in the Hindi film which was made in 1955 by Bimal Roy. He says the dialogue in his own style, "Kaun kambakht hai joh bardaasht karne ke liye peeta hai, main toh peeta hoon ke bus saans le sakoon. Big B talks about DIlip Kumar fondly and says that they lost him and it is a huge loss for the Indian Film Industry.
Big B talks to Nimisha about her profession and she shares with him that she trains juniors for cyber and goes on to talk about it in detail. Mr Bachchan warns aspiring contestants of KBC and says that there have been cases in the past where many people have been conned by mimicking his voice. He requests people to not share their bank details with anyone who poses before them as KBC officials.
Nimisha impresses Big B with her knowledge and answers one question after the other. From Bollywood, History to the US politics, Nimisha answers everything swiftly. She uses her second lifeline "Flip The Question' for Rs 40,000 question and goes on to take the right guess. She choses My City My State as her area of interest and answers and the next question correctly and wins the amount.
To make the atmosphere light Big B again talks to Nimisha's husband and asks if given a chance to file an FIR against his wife what is that one thing which irritates him about her. He shares that he would like to stop his habit of online shopping. Mr Bachchan enjoys the conversation and laughs. Nimisha's husband says that he is annoyed with her online shopping. Amitabh Bachchan tells him that all the husbands present in the audience, around the world and including him can identify with his pain.
Amitabh Bachchan reads out the next question for Rs 80,000. He plays a song from Dil Bechara and ask her: This song is shot in the capital city of which country. Nimisha answers it correctly France and wins the amount.
Nimisha gets stuck on the next question and takes the audience poll help and manages to answer the next question. Who was issues the patent titled 'Improvement In Telegraphy' in 1876. She goes with the audience choice and wins Rs 1,60,000. The episode comes to an end.
