Over 46,000 vaccinated in a day in Lucknow

LUCKNOW: With 46,457 people taking the jab against Covid-19 on Thursday, Lucknow recorded the fourth highest turnout since the start of the mass immunisation campaign in January.
Carried out at 109 centres including 29 private, the drive witnessed 27,597 men and 8,860 women taking the shots. Overall, 33,636 persons took the first shot and 12,821 completed their course by taking the second dose.
Of those vaccinated, 72.5% (33,725) were in the 18-44 age group, followed by 19.1% (8,878) aged 45-59 years and elderly 7.6% (3,531).
