Covid-19: Haryana reports zero deaths for fourth day, 1.40 lakh get vaccines

CHANDIGARH: Haryana on Saturday recorded zero Covid-19 deaths for the four consecutive day as the state reported 1.40 lakh vaccinations, 14 new cases and 40 recoveries.
Four districts continue to bear the Covid-free tag.
Of the total 1,40,022 vaccine jabs to people, 82,354 were given the first dose while 47,668 were given the second dose. The cumulative coverage of vaccination is reported to be 1,82,09,980.
On the Covid-19 front, the cumulative figures of the state have gone to 7,70,640 cases, 7,60,423 recoveries, 9,686 deaths and 187 active cases.
The positivity rate of the day was reported to be 0.05 per cent and the overall positivity rate was recorded as 6.45 per cent. The maximum of three new cases was reported in Gurugram, followed by two cases each in Sonipat, Ambala, and Yamunanagar districts. One case each was reported in Faridabad, Panipat, Rewari, Kaithal and Charkhi Dadri districts.
The cumulative fatality rate remained stable at 1.26 per cent and recovery rate is pitched at 98.67 per cent.
