Osasuna were beaten by visiting Valencia on Sunday, leaving them with 10 points after 3 games

Valencia enjoyed a mesmerising away victory against Osasuna at the Estadio El Sadar on Sunday. Both sides arrived at the challenge after previous wins. Osasuna had been hopeful of continuing their run, following a 3-2 victory against Cádiz. Valencia were coming off the back of a 3-0 win against Alaves. As the table looks today, Osasuna are in 9th place on the table and has 5 points while Valencia sit in 1st with 10 points after 4 matches.

Los Rojillos started strong and were rewarded for their efforts, with Jon Moncayola giving Osasuna the lead, 8 minutes in. However, The Bats secured the points emphatically, with a goal from Maxi Gomez at the 26 minute mark to see out the first half 1-1.

Valencia started the second half with renewed vigour, with an early calamitous own goal from Aridane in the 50th minute. The momentum was now with Valencia, who then scored again through a goal from Goncalo Guedes, at 55 minutes to establish a 3-1. Valencia then scored once more and increased their advantage thanks to a goal from Omar Alderete in the 73rd minute with a final score of 4-1.

For Osasuna, Roberto Torres, Ezequiel Avila, Inigo Perez, Javier Ontiveros and Jose Angel, came on for Robert Ibanez, Lucas Torro, Ruben Garcia, Kike Garcia and Manu Sanchez. Valencia brought on Dimitri Foulquier, Hugo Duro, Mouctar Diakhaby, Marcos De Sousa and Yunus Musah, to replace Denis Cheryshev, Jose Luis Gaya, Omar Alderete, Goncalo Guedes and Carlos Soler.

There were bookings for Lucas Torro, David Garcia, Sergio Herrera and Jon Moncayola from Osasuna, and Carlos Soler and Omar Alderete, for Valencia.

Osasuna will play their next fixture away against Alaves, while Valencia will face R Madrid at home.
