Thane: Two injured in accident on Kapurbawdi-Nashik flyover

Two people were injured when a trailer rammed into an auto-rickshaw on Kapurbawdi-Nashik flyover bridge in the early hours of Tuesday.

The incident occurred at 1 am which resulted in huge traffic jam on Mumbai-Nashik highway.
THANE: Two people were injured when a trailer rammed into an auto-rickshaw on Kapurbawdi-Nashik flyover bridge in the early hours of Tuesday.
An official from the Regional Disaster Management Cell of Thane Municipal Corporation informed that those injured were rushed to a private hospital.
The incident occurred at around 1 am on Kapurbawdi-Nashik flyover bridge (towards Nashik lane) next to Majiwada circle in Thane.

Some of the onlookers informed the control room after which the fire engines, rescue van of the fire brigade, and personnel of the police as well as other agencies reached the spot for the rescue operations. The official said that rescue operation was successfully completed this morning. Both, trailer and auto-rikshaw was removed to one side of the road and normal traffic movement was restored on Mumbai-Nashik highway.
Those injured are identified as Danish Shaha and Tarnumun Shaha. Danish (38) has injuries on both legs and head and Tarnumun (30) has suffered injuries on her back.
