NAGPUR: At least 11 people were feared drowned after a boat capsized in Wardha River on Tuesday.
Three bodies have been fished out so far from the place, located within the limits of Benoda police station of Amravati rural district, which is at the tri-junction of Wardha, Amravati and Nagpur districts.
Police said 13 people, native of Wadegaon in Warud tehsil, had gone to enjoy Zunj waterfall on Wardha river.

The boat capsized due to strong current of Wardha river bloated due to heavy rains in the region last few days.
Around eight bodies are yet to be fished out.
Apart from local divers and fisherman from local villages, district police have also pressed State disaster rescue force (SDRF) into action.
