The road is one of the important roads which connects Bhiwandi with Wada.
THANE: Fed up over big potholes on Bhiwandi-Wada road in Thane district of Maharashtra, some locals floated a boat in potholes to protest against the state government.
The video of the unique protest has gone viral on social media platforms. In the video, youth from the local area can be seen floating a boat in water-filled potholes.
The youth protested in order to wake up the administration and took to different patches on the road where big potholes can be seen.

Taking a dig at administration, they also carried a placard with a message, "Enjoy boat rides amid Ganesh festival on Bhiwandi- Wada highway."

The road is one of the important roads which connects Bhiwandi with Wada. The route is also used by many people to travel to the highway connecting Gujarat.
The locals said that the road comes under Public Works Department and it should be repaired immediately to avoid any big mishap.
