Former Mr India contest winner, Manoj Patil attempted suicide at his residence in Mumbai's suburban Oshiwara on September 16. He had tried to take his life by consuming some pills after which he was rushed to Cooper Hospital. A few days before his attempt to suicide, he had reportedly submitted a letter to the police demanding action against Bollywood actor Sahil Khan for allegedly harassing him, defaming him on social media and creating problems in his professional life. Patil had highlighted the same allegation in his suicide note. After the news of the allegations surfaced on social media, Sahil Khan called for a press conference to clear his name. At the press conference, speaking on the matter, Sahil said that the whole thing is between Manoj Patil and a person named Raj Faujdar. Sahil said.
