I-T officials search Sonu Sood’s properties in Mumbai, Nagpur and Jaipur on Day 3

The Income Tax department is continuing with its operation at Sonu Sood’s residence in Mumbai on the third day. It was on September 15 that I-T officials carried out survey operations at six places linked to the actor in Mumbai. The next morning, on September 16, they reached his residence again. Today, on Day 3 (September 17), the officials are searching Sonu Sood’s Mumbai residence and other properties in Nagpur, Maharashtra and Jaipur, Rajasthan.

The I-T officials started conducted survey operations at six premises linked to Sonu Sood in Mumbai on September 15. Sources revealed that the I-T officials are taking a close look at account books, income generated, expenditure and other financial records of the actor and other entities linked to him.

After the I-T department started searching Sonu Sood’s residence on second day, his fans showed their support for the actor by trending #IstandWithSonuSood on Twitter.

Sonu Sood helped many people who have been affected by the novel coronavirus pandemic. During the first lockdown imposed by the government to curb the spread of Covid-19 in April 2020, the actor arranged transportation for migrant workers to reach their homes from different parts of the country. Sonu also supported people suffering from Covid-19 by arranging medical care for them, including hospital beds, oxygen cylinders and concentrators, among other essential items.
