MSME Minister Rane assures Jammu MSMEs to promptly resolve pending industry issues
Jammu, Sept 17 (KNN) Narayan Tatu Rane, Hon'ble Union Minister Micro Small & Medium Enterprises Govt. of India visited Bari Brahmana Industries Association during his visit to District Samba under the ongoing public outreach programme of the Centre Government.
Jugal Kishore Sharma Hon'ble Member Parliament, Raghav Langer Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Kashav Dutt Chairperson, District Development Council, Samba, Anuradha Gupta, Deputy Commissioner, Samba, Anoo Malhotra, Director Industries & Commerce, Jammu, Smita Sethi, Managing Director, J & K SIDCO & other officers of various departments of the State Govt. also visited along with him.
While welcoming the Hon'ble Union Minister, Lalit Mahajan, President of BBIA convey heartiest thankful to Govt. of India working under the able Leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the grant of Fiscal Incentives of Rs. 28,400 Crores for the Industrial Sector of J & K.
A Delegation of Office Bearers and members of Bari Brahmana Industries Association under the Presidentship of Lalit Mahajan highlighted the various issues related to the Industrial Sector for the kind consideration of Narayan Tatu Rane.
These issues include Extension of 300% Reimbursement of Gross GST to the Existing MSME Units at par with Govt. of Industrial Development Scheme 2021. Relief to Existing MSME Industrial Sector of J & K during COVID-19 current Situation. Compulsory Purchase by Central Govt. /Union Territory of J & K Departments, Reimbursement of Road Freight for the dispatch of Industrial Goods to the Domestic Market as well as for Export from Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir
And also, shortage of Non-Agriculture Land for Industrial purpose to Outside Investors, Establishment of Export Promotion Industrial Parks/ SEZ's in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir & Establishment of Mini Tool Room.
It is pertinent to mention here that the 63 Million Units of MSME Sector of our Country working under the able leadership of Hon'ble Union Minister and contributing 30% of the GDP and providing employment to approx. 100 million people making it the largest source of Employment after the Agriculture Sector.
Lalit Mahajan presented a Memento to the Hon'ble Guest as token of respect.
The Union Minister assured the Delegation to resolve the issues related to the Industrial Sector as early as possible for speedy Industrial Growth in our State which will provide Employment to local Unemployed youths of the State.
