Party in the Paddock will get underway in Newbury on Saturday (September 18) evening, but what about the food and drink?

Eventgoers will see Rick Astley take to the stage following a thrilling day of racing at Newbury Racecourse.

This is the second time the racecourse has hosted the event, promising the "ultimate round-off of the summer months".

Astley’s 90-minute set follows the Dubai Duty Free International Saturday.

As always, there are a ton of options when it comes to food and drink, from seafood and shellfish to a simple cider by the track.

Here’s what’s on offer at Newbury Racecourse.

The Hennessy

If you’re looking for the best of the best then you can’t go wrong with this restaurant. Not only does it come with a glass of champagne on arrival, but there’s also after-lunch fancies on offer. The three-course a la carte menu is bound to come at a price, especially as it overlooks the finish line.

There is limited availability so you’ll have to be extra lucky to bag a place before Astley takes to the stage.

In fact, it's so exclusive that they don't even list their prices ahead of time.

The Racegoers Restaurant

This is yet another racecourse eatery with fantastic views. There’s plenty on offer, including a three-course lunch including dishes like ‘supreme guinea fowl’ and ‘fillet of smoked haddock’.

For dessert why not dip into a delicious vanilla panna cotta or a bitter chocolate sable.

Even better, once you’ve booked your table it’s yours for the afternoon, meaning you’re free to come and go as you wish. The fresh food is prepared and cooked to order - you need only inform your waiter of when you wish to eat.

Again, dining here is rather expensive, but the prices depend on the package you opt for.

The Paddock Bar

If you’re looking to get in on the action then you can’t go wrong with a ring-side seat. Whilst the aforementioned restaurants provide fantastic views of the final furlong, people dining at The Paddock Bar will be able to see the horses before they even head onto the course.

The menu includes a delicious seafood platter, and you get a mini bottle of Champagne when you book. Find a filly that catches your eye? There are private betting facilities just metres from your table.

Park 'n' Picnic

What better way to see the racing than from the trackside? Book a spot for your car and simply drive straight to the side of the racecourse.

The picnic is delivered straight to your front seat, so there’s no need to stress about cramming sandwiches into the glove compartment. The best part? It’s totally relaxed. There’s no need to dress up, unlike other areas of the racecourse.
