Non-essential shops at Pashan road in Pune remained closed in wake of the tenth day of Ganpati immersion on Sunday. Devotees immersed their Ganesha idols in the artificial pond set up in Balewadi. The PMC mobile immersion tanks waited for devotees in Baner. A large number of people opted to donate their Ganesha Idols rather than to immerse them in the Mula River on Sunday. People carried their speaker systems and danced while immersing their Ganesh idols in the Mula River.
