Dimapur, Sep. 20 (EMN): Following the announcement of Unlock 6 last week, the Home department has issued standard operating procedure (SOP) for swimming pools, cinema halls and theatres across Nagaland to contain the spread of the Covid-19.

The government has allowed swimming pools and cinema halls to open with 50% capacity subject to adherence to SOP starting from September 17. However, it won’t be allowed to open in containment zones.

According to fresh SOP issued by Principal Secretary Abhijit Sinha, general guidelines like adequate physical distancing of at least six feet, wearing of mask, hand sanitisers, queue markers, sanitisation of the area and frequently touched surfaces, thermal screening at the entry and exit points, staggered timing, booking and payment via digital no-contact transaction, etc. should be followed at swimming pools and cinema halls.

The Home department warned that any violation of the provisions given in the SOP will attract action against the management as per legal provisions.
