Greater Noida: Thematic plants, green spaces to beautify metro line and Expo Mart area

After Sirsa entry point and select roundabouts that are to be beautified on thematic lines, the area around the metro line between Knowledge Park 2 to Pari Chowk in Greater Noida will now be turned green where thematic saplings of same species of plants such as Amaltas, Qureshia, Gulmohar and Kachnar etc will be planted.

On Monday, the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) CEO Narendra Bhooshan undertook a site inspection of the areas, and directed similar beautification of the area around Expo Mart which holds many national and international events throughout the year.

On Monday, the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) CEO Narendra Bhooshan undertook a site inspection of the areas, and directed similar beautification of the area around Expo Mart which holds many national and international events throughout the year.
“I’ve instructed to issue a tender for these works by preparing a composite proposal to further enhance the beauty of the surroundings,” said Bhooshan.
Work related to greenery, footpath and drainage system were directed to be undertaken at the earliest under this to make this area more beautiful.
Bhooshan also visited the Lohia Park located opposite gate number 8 of Expo Mart where instructions were given to maintain the park along with repairing the pond inside it. Expressing displeasure on the remains of trimmed trees left in the green belt of the area, Bhooshan directed the horticulture and the public health departments to ensure the processing of horticulture waste into compost.
