SRINAGAR: In the ongoing DFA Srinagar Football League 2021, four matches were played on Tuesday here.
In the Super Division, which has entered its second stage, two matches were played at Synthetic Turf, TRC.
The first match between Court Road FC and Jehlum Sports ended in a 1-1 draw. Jehlum Sports took the lead in the 53rd minute of the second half through Mehraj. Court Road players, however, struck back in the 70th minute through Ateeb to equalise the match.
In the second Super Division match, Fort View FC took on Syed Tajuddin FC. The match was dominated by the Syed Tajuddin players who scored four goals to wrap up a comfortable tie. The first goal was scored by Sanjeev in the 9th minute, Waris then doubled Syed Tajuddin FC's lead in the 23rd minute. Shoib scored the team's third goal in the 64th minute, and the fourth goal was scored by Faisal in the last five minutes of the match. Syed Tajuddin defeated Fort View FC by 4 goals to nil.
In the 'A' Division League, which is currently in its initial league stages, two matches were played at Gindun Ground, Rajbagh.
The first match was played between Haroon FC and Towheed FC, Anchar. Haroon FC won the match 4-1, courtesy of goals by Salman. Faizan, Burhan and Soban. Umer Habib was the scorer for Towheed FC.
The second match of the 'A' Division was played between Blossom FC & Majeed Bagh FC. The match ended in a goalless draw.
