Shocking visuals: Mother, daughter charred to death in Bengaluru apartment blaze

A massive fire consumed 2 adjoining apartment units in a building in Bengaluru. 59-year-old woman and her 82-year-old mother were trapped inside and were burnt alive. Neighbors and passersby called the fire department when they heard cries for help. Some suffered burns when they tried to rescue the women. 59-year-old Rekha and her husband- who survived the fire, had just returned from visiting their daughter in the US on Monday evening. The fire is suspected to have been triggered by a cooking gas cylinder leakage.
