Anurag Kashyap’s daughter, Aaliyah Kashyap, has been pursuing her higher studies from the US. As she returned home recently, an overexcited Anurag kept annoying her.
Anurag Kashyap is over the moon as his daughter, Aaliyah Kashyap, has returned home from the US. The 20-year-old is enrolled at Chapman University in Southern California. Anurag received Aaliyah at the airport and couldn’t stop filming her in the car. The filmmaker even watched Modern Family with Aaliyah early in the morning over pizzas and fries. Now, isn’t that every annoyingly loving dad ever?
ANURAG KASHYAP IS SUPER EXCITED TO HAVE AALIYAH HOME
Anurag Kashyap is very close to his daughter, Aaliyah Kashyap. Back in June, Aaliyah took him to lunch and paid the bill with her own money. Anurag recorded the proud moment and shared it on social media. No wonder he was looking forward to having her home again. So, as soon as he picked her up from the airport as she returned from the US, he started recording her videos.
In the videos, we can see an embarrassed Aaliyah saying that she “just landed” and that Anurag was being annoying. How cute!
Next, Anurag shared videos of him and Aaliyah watching Modern Family at 6 in the morning while eating pizzas and fries. “It’s 6 am and I am forced to watch Modern Family and eat pizzas and fries with this one (sic),” he wrote. Such a great father-daughter bond, right?
ANURAG KASHYAP’S BIRTHDAY WISH FOR AALIYAH ON HER 20TH BIRTHDAY
Anurag Kashyap shared a throwback picture with his daughter Aaliyah to wish her a happy birthday on January 9. He wrote, "Happy 20th my baby @aaliyahkashyap pic courtesy @ishikamohanmotwane (sic)." Aaliyah is Anurag Kashyap’s and his first wife Aarti Bajaj’s daughter. The filmmaker married Aarti in 2003, but the couple went their separate ways in 2009.
On the work font, Anurag Kashyap is looking forward to the release of Dobaaraa. The film stars Taapsee Pannu in the lead role.
