An emotional Drew McIntyre kisses the ground at Glasgow airport

Referencing Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves movie which sees actor Kevin Costner kiss the ground and say 'I'm Home', Drew decided to do the same in Scotland.

"You ever scene Robin Hood? It's probably incredibly unhygienic but I haven't been home for two years. I'm very excited."

As he bends down to kiss the ground he adds: "Home finally. I could use some sanitiser for my lips."

He added: "I'm really excited to see my family, my nephew who is three, I've only seen twice. He only knows me as the guy that climbs out the television so I'm very excited to see all my family.

"It's awesome to be back in Glasgow. There are so many significant moments from my career that have happened here. You can't imagine, after the past few days in Newcastle, London, Cardiff how loud they've been.

"Glasgow is going to, I don't know, possibly break the sound barrier."
