Odisha floods: 500 feet long breach makes matters worse in Balasore

Things got worse in Odisha’s Balasore district after a 500 feet long breach flooded the Ektali village on September 23. The river embankment near the village broke and gave way to heavy flow of water into the area. The breach reportedly caused flooding across fifty villages in the district.
