Winning Match 6 ticket worth $750k sold at Belle Vernon grocery store

A jackpot Match 6 Lotto ticket worth $750,000 was sold at a Belle Vernon grocery store this week, according to Pennsylvania Lottery officials.

Lottery officials said the ticket, purchased from Duritza’s Market at 735 Henry St., correctly matched all six winning numbers, 4-30-33-43-47-48, during Tuesday’s drawing.

The store will earn a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

According to the Pennsylvania Lottery website, the chance of matching all six numbers is one in 4.6 million. Winners can be identified only after prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Match 6 tickets expire one year from the drawing date. Anyone with the winning ticket should sign it, call the lottery at 1-800-692-7481, or go online at palottery.com.

This is at least the second jackpot Match 6 Lotto ticket sold in Westmoreland County this month. Lottery officials on Sept. 13 announced that a ticket worth $3.74 million was sold at a Sheetz store on Ronda Court in North Huntingdon. The convenience store was awarded $10,000 for selling the winning ticket.

In addition to the Belle Vernon ticket, a winning scratch-off ticket worth $1 million was sold at a Fayette County gas station this week.

The $1 million Extreme Green ticket was sold at a Georges Township Sunoco on Morgantown Road. The gas station will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the ticket.

The scratch-off is a $20 game with a top prize of $1 million. The chances of winning the top prize are one in 1.8 million, according to the lottery website.

Scratch-off prizes expire one year from the game’s end-sale date. Winners should sign the back of their ticket and call lottery officials.
