Khamsinchung Nicholas Pamei - MaolKeki Memorial Scholarship at St. Stephen's College
MaolKeki Foundation is very pleased to announce the recipient of the 2021 MaolKeki Memorial Scholarship at St. Stephen’s College after a break in 2020 when the amount was used instead to seed the St. Stephen’s College Covid Resilience Fund that supported over 50 students impacted by Covid.
The annual cash scholarship is awarded to a Manipuri student studying at St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, who has demonstrated excellent academic performance, integration and immersion into College life by participating in various extra-curricular activities, however has limited financial means to support his or her education. The selection process is managed by a committee in College and also requires the student to submit a hand-written essay.
The recipient for the third MaolKeki Memorial Scholarship is Khamsinchung Nicholas Pamei from Khoupum Satudai in Noney district, Manipur, who is currently in his third year of a Chemistry (Honours) degree.
So far, Khamsinchung has an average of 9.5/10 SGPA in the University Examinations and he is also an active member of the Northeast Society and College volleyball team. Mr. Pamei is the son of Mrs. Sangamdailiu Pamei and (L) Mr. Gaithaodimpou Pamei and he is the youngest of five sisters and two brothers.
His education has been supported by a sister who is a banker and he completed his high school from Don Bosco School Sechu Zubza, Kohima, Nagaland, and higher secondary school from Herbert School, Changangei, Imphal West.
MaolKeki Foundation wishes Mr. Pamei the very best in his studies and looks forward to him scaling greater heights in the future.
