The official trailer of Kristen Stewart-starrer Spencer is out. It gives a glimpse of the highly anticipated film which narrates the tumultuous life of Princess Diana after her wedding to Prince Charles. The film gives a sneak peek into the life of the members of the British Royal family in a fictionalised version of a short Christmas holiday at the Sandringham Estate. It is said that this weekend sealed Princess Diana's untimely fate. Spencer is scheduled to release in theatres on November 5.
SPENCER TRAILER OUT
After releasing a teaser trailer of Spencer in August, the makers treated the fans to the official trailer on Thursday, September 23. The film focuses on the Christmas holiday when Princess Diana deals with the impending breakup of her marriage with Prince Charles. The trailer shows how Diana dealt with the news of her husband's affair with Camila Parker and the pressure of being part of the Royal family.
Diana arrives late, as if to make a point. She decides to keep a stiff upper lip, the Brits are famous for. The trailer promises a dramatic and complex take on Princess Diana. Spencer explores the complicated psyche of a woman feeling resentment because of a failed marriage and betrayal by the Royal family. It doesn't boast of being the truthful story of Princess Diana, neither promises to be a tell-it-all. Kristen Stewart looks breathtaking and promises a stunning performance.

It was during this holiday when Princess Diana finally realised that her marriage with Prince Charles wasn't working out.
