Santa Rosa Man on Probation Arrested for Guns and Drugs Possession

A traffic stop in Santa Rosa leads to an arrest for Gun and Drug charges. On Wednesday, Sheriff Deputies from the Property/Narcotics unit made a vehicle traffic stop in the 2700 block of Corby Avenue. Detectives had observed Tony Dang, who is on Sonoma County probation and subject to search and seizure. Dang was also wanted on a felony evading warrant from Alameda County. A follow-up probation search was conducted and deputies found in Dang’s residence suspected cocaine and marijuana packaged for sale, a scale, packaging material, two firearms, ammunition, and firearm magazines. Dang was arrested for possession of a narcotic for sale, felon in possession of a firearm, possession of marijuana for sale, probation violation, and the evading warrant from Alameda County.
