Houston Dash shuts out Racing Louisville FC

It was the second time this season that Houston has beaten Racing.

Racing Louisville FC played its first match in over two weeks on Sunday when it faced the Houston Dash inside Lynn Family Stadium. It was the visitors though who are leaving the Derby City with smiles on their faces, as Houston beat Racing 4-0. Racing struggled to find a rhythm offensively in the club's first game without striker Nadia Nadim, who suffered a torn ACL earlier this month, ending her season. Houston outshot Racing 17-3 in the match. In fact, Racing failed to have a shot on goal. After the loss, Racing interim head coach Mario Sanchez said he was disappointed in the outcome Sunday. “I thought we had a really good 10 days of preparation of training," said Sanchez. "I was disappointed to give up some of the goals that we gave up. So, we move forward and regroup and get ready for the next one.” Racing is back in action Friday at home against NJ/NY Gotham FC. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. EST inside Lynn Family Stadium. Click on the video above for more.
