Doha : Bollywood directors and actors shared new release dates for their upcoming movies in cinemas starting October 22, as Maharashtra Chief Minister announced the news to open all cinema halls in the city.
Film director Rohit Shetty shared a post on Instagram thanking CM and announcing the release of his much-awaited cop franchise movie“Sooryavanshi”, starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in lead roles with Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn making special appearances, on Diwali. Same news was also reposted by Karan Johar
Following the opening news, YRF also announced release dates for their movies.
Bunty aur Babli 2 - November 19 - Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukherji, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Sharvari
Prithviraj - Jan 21,2022 - Akshay Kumar, Manushi Chillar, Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood
Jayeshbha Jordaar – February 25, 2022 - Ranveer Singh and Shalini Pandey
Shamshera – March 18,2022 - Ranbir Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt.
Aamir Khan productions and Kareena Kapoor Khan also announced on their respective Instagram handles the release date of their upcoming film Laal Singh Chadda on Valentine's Day 2022, which was earlier slated to release this Christmas.

83 – Christmas 2021 - Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone
Bachchan Pandey – March 4, 2022 – Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandes and Arshad Warsi
Heropanti2 – May 6, 2022 - Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria
Shahid Kapoor also took his Instagram to announce the date for his movie Jersey which is a remake of Telgu film of same title, which will be released on December 31 in cinemas.
John Abaraham starrer Stayameva Jayate 2 will also release on November 29.
