Ticket prices for Patriots-Buccaneers game reflect Tom Brady hype
There is a large amount of hype surrounding this weekend's New England Patriots versus Tampa Bay Buccaneers football game, and ticket sales are reflecting the excitement.
“I’ve never seen hype for a game like this,” Pat Higgins said.
Higgins has been selling game tickets for 20 years — through the golden years of Boston professional sports, especially when it comes to Tom Brady.

“Anytime you have the greatest player who ever lived come back home for his final game at Gillette, you’re going to have people talking about the game,” Higgins said.
Looking at ticket websites, the low end to get in the game is around $300 for upper-tier seats, while the upper prices are closer to $3,000 for 50-yard line seats — down from $5,000 earlier this summer when the NFL announced the Bucs were coming to Foxborough.

No matter where or how you get your seats, Higgins said this game is one for the ages when it comes to New England pro sports.
“This is it. This is the farewell. He is not coming back. Not going to wear a Patriots uniform anymore,” Higgins said. “Unless he plays until he is 50 – and maybe he does – but this is it. The chance to say goodbye to the best person who ever did it.”
