Women inmates in Moradabad Jail make Lakshmi-Ganesha idols, diyas using cow dung

Moradabad district Jail has received orders for 5,000-10,000 Lakshmi-Ganesha idols and diyas made of cow dung. Women inmates have been working tirelessly to meet the demand. Eco-friendly idols and diyas are in great demand. Speaking to ANI, Jail Superintendent Viresh Raj Sharma said, “Currently 60 women inmates have been preparing idols and diyas. There is a great demand in the domestic and international market.”
