HYDERABAD: Union minister for women and child welfare Smriti Irani has charged the TRS government with duping the unemployed youth by not implementing an unemployed allowance of Rs 3,116 a month, the promise made during the 2018 assembly elections.
She said the CM, who got Pragati Bhavan for his house and started constructing a new building for the secretariat, has not been providing 2 BHK houses for the poor.

"The Telangana movement started demanding Nidhulu (Funds), Neelu (Water) and Niyamakalu (Recruitment). While the people have still been struggling for drinking water, funds have gone to his own family and there was no recruitment and posts are now confined to KCR family and his henchmen,” the union minister said while addressing at the concluding of BJP state president Bandi Sanjay’s Praja Sangrama Yatra at Husnabad on Saturday.
She said TRS is scared of AIMIM and not celebrating Telangana Liberation Day on September 17. “Though the car (symbol of the TRS party) belongs to TRS, the steering is in the hands of AIMIM,” the minister said. On the huge response to the meeting, she said people have come in large numbers to bless the party and also to end the corrupt and dictatorial rule of TRS. The union minister listed out the schemes that were taken up by the Centre. She said the BJP government has taken the initiative to reopen Fertilizer Corporation of India (FCI) at Ramagundam and purchased 12 lakh metric tons of cotton in the state. For Dalits, also the Modi government had spent Rs 25,000 crore, she said.
Bandi Sanjay said there is a Razakars and Taliban ruling in the state, which would come to an end soon. He asked the people whether they want Razakar’s rule or Rama Rajyam?
“Whenever I speak on the development, the TRS leaders blame me for provoking communal sentiments. But I will speak for 80% of Hindus and for Dharma. BJP will always speak on behalf of Hindus and their rights,” Sanjay said.
Alleging that he suspects secret understanding between Congress, TRS, and AIMIM, the state president said whenever, BJP holds a meeting, on the same day Congress holds meetings. “Congress is working against which party?” he said.

“After Huzurabad elections, the second phase of Praja Sangrama Yatra’ would be resumed but it would be a Vijaya Yatra (Victory yatra) as the ruling TRS was going to lose in the bye-election in Huzurabad. The pink party would not get a deposit in the election. He hoped the BJP would come into power in Telangana in the 2023 general elections,” he said.
BJP senior leaders and MLAs Raja Singh, BJP OBC Morcha president K Laxman, national vice president DK Aruna, former minister Eatala Rajender, other leaders NVSS Prabhakar, G Manohar Reddy, G Premender Reddy, ex MP G Vivek and others were present.
