Two teenagers kill selves at Botad

Rajkot: A teenage boy and a girl ended their lives by hurling themselves before a moving train in Botad on Sunday evening. Ranjit Kuwarkhaniya (17) and Rekha Rojasra (16) were in a relationship and wanted to get married. However, their relationship was not acceptable to either of their families.
Police said that as the couple realized that it would not be possible to get married, they fled from their homes at Anyari village on Sunday evening. The duo went to nearby railway tracks and ended their lives by hurling themselves before a goods train. A case of accidental death was registered at Ranpur police station.
