BEULAH, N.D. — A lucky lottery player won $100,000 in the Powerball drawing Monday, Oct. 4, on a ticket sold at a western North Dakota convenience store.

The ticket sold by the Hub Convenience Store in Beulah yielded a $50,000 prize, but the buyer doubled the prize by paying for the "Power Play" option, according to a news release from the North Dakota Lottery announcing the winning ticket

Monday night's winning numbers were 2, 22, 54, 66 and 69. The Powerball was 15, and the Power Play multiplier was 2. It was the first win of its size since Powerball started Monday night draws in August.

"This is the first big Monday night win of $50,000 or more and we could not be more excited for the lucky winner," state lottery director Randy Miller said in the news release.

No winner had come forward as of Tuesday afternoon, state lottery officials said. Winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim a prize, and prizes over $599 must be claimed at the North Dakota Lottery office at 1720 Burlington Drive in Bismarck.
