    Celebs go all out on Durga Puja: Kajol dazzles in blue, Mouni Roy goes royal, Sourav Ganguly posts happy pics

    Several celebrities and personalities decided to not give this year a miss, and visited the pandals to seek Goddess Durga's blessings.

    Durga Puja celebrations have begun in full swing for the B-town celebrities.

    On the occasion of Durga Saptami and Ashtami, many celebrities were spotted at puja pandals, seeking blessings of the goddess.

    Bollywood actress Kajol Devgn, a regular at the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja Samiti (NBSDGS) pandal, marked her presence on both auspicious days.

    The 'Baazigar' star was accompanied by her son Yug, mother Tanuja and sister Tanisha. She was also snapped with actress-cousin Sharbani Mukherjee and actor-uncle Deb Mukherjee - who is also the father of director Ayan Mukerji.

    On Day 1, the 47-year-old actress was dazzled in a neon-pink saree and chunky, Kundan jewellery.

    For the Durga Ashtami, Kajol opted for a blue silk saree with an embellished border. Tanuja and Tanisha donned bright colours for the occasion.


    Draped in devine colours of gold and white, actress Mouni Roy planned her darshan with actress-friend Karishma Modi Chandhoke.

    Later, she also shared glimpses of her epic look on Instagram, with the caption - "Missing home."


    TV actress Sumona Chakravarti of 'The Kapil Sharma Show' fame was also snapped at the NBSDGS pandal. The star looked pretty in a blue and white printed cotton saree.

    Meanwhile, from the heart of West Bengal, several celebrities and personalities decided to not give this year a miss, and visited the pandals to seek Goddess Durga's blessings.

    Dressed in a gray kurta, Board of Control for Cricket in India President Sourav Ganguly took to Instagram to share the glimpse of Ma, and said he eagerly waits for this day every year.

    "Maa Durga has so much power and love that it fills every Bengali's life with joy and happiness when she comes home. The city will be in a frenzy for the next 5 days," he wrote.


    Actress-cum-politician Nusrat Jahan, who welcomed her son Yishaan in August, is celebrating her first Durga puja as a mother.

    The 31-year-old MP shared a video of herself dressed in an embellished pink saree for the festive celebration.

    Bengali actress Mimi Chakraborty, who joined politics with Jahan, also shared fun moments from the pandal. The 32-year-old MP opted for a dazzling silk saree for the occasion.
