I'm a Celebrity bosses have confirmed that a fan favourite will be axed from the show.

The newest series will return next month as it is set to return to Gwrych Castle in Abergele once again despite concerns of international travel and coronavirus.

Fans will see weeks of trials and challenges as celebrities battle their way through scary and disgusting bushtucker tasks.

However, it appears that a fan favourite has been axed from the show with no replacement on the way.

In 2020, The Daily Drop with presenter Vick Hope was aired for the first time but bosses have said that won't be returning.

An I'm A Celebrity spokesperson told WalesOnline: "The Daily Drop won't be returning this year but we'd like to thank Vick Hope and everyone involved in the show last year for bringing fans of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! all the latest news and gossip"

The Daily Drop followed a similar format to Extra Camp which ran for 17 years and followed the main show on ITV2.

Rather than watch it after each episode, however, the spin-off was available from 6am each day on the ITV Hub with viewers able to hear lively opinions and debates and get all the latest gossip from the castle.

And much like Extra Camp, the celebrities joined Vick on The Daily Drop to share their experiences of life at the Welsh castle following their exit.

The Daily Drop was introduced after Extra Camp was axed by ITV in January last year.

Extra Camp was given its name in 2015 replacing the original spin-off which launched with the show in 2002 and was called I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Now!.

However, for the first time viewers will only be able to catch up on gossip and get updates from the official I'm A Celebrity channels on Facebook, Twitter, Tik Tok and Instagram.
