Respected Swedish agent reacts to reports West Ham-linked Super Eagles star was his client
Published: October 14, 2021Respected Swedish agent Patrick Mörk has dismissed viral reports emanating from the French media claiming that he was dumped by Racing Genk striker Paul Onuachu.
Onuachu looked primed to take the next leap in his career after a banner 2020-2021 campaign that saw him score a remarkable 37 goals for club and country
And it is known that the former FC Midtjylland man was offered to a couple of English Premier League clubs including West Ham United in the summer transfer window but a deal did not materialize.
The consensus is that Onuachu's intermediary, Jens ørgaard Pedersen of Boutique Transfers, did not do enough to get the striker a deal despite his impressive goalscoring stats.
When asked to confirm if he was Onuachu's agent, Patrick Mörk told allnigeriasoccer.com on Thursday night : "I am not Paul Onuachu's agent, was never his agent. I never even spoke to this player".
Onuachu signed a new deal with Racing Genk in September, keeping him at the Belgian Cup winners until June 30, 2024.
