Vladimir Coufal has failed a late fitness test so Ben Johnson starts at right-back for West Ham against Everton today.

That is the only change from the Hammers team that lost 2-1 against Brentford before the international break.

Michail Antonio pulled out of the Jamaica squad for the recent international fixtures, citing logistical issues as his reason, meaning he was spared a long-distance trip and should be fresh. He leads the line for West Ham.

Kurt Zouma, who enjoyed a successful loan spell at Everton a couple of seasons ago, starts in defence. Former Everton midfielder Nikola Vlasic is named on the bench.

For Everton, Alex Iwobi is back in the team having missed the trip to Manchester United before the international break and he replaces Anthony Gordon.

Yerry Mina has to settle for a place on the bench, having only returned from international duty with Colombia on Friday. He is replaced by Seamus Coleman, so Ben Godfrey moves to centre-back.

West Ham confirmed XI: Fabianski, Cresswell, Johnson, Zouma, Ogbonna, Soucek, Rice, Fornals, Benrahma, Bowen, Antonio.

Subs: Areola, Yarmolenko, Lanzini, Vlasic, Dawson, Diop, Masuaku, Ashby, Baptiste.

Everton confirmed XI: Pickford, Digne, Coleman, Keane, Godfrey, Allan, Doucoure, Iwobi, Gray, Townsend, Rondon.

Subs: Begovic, Tyrer, Kenny, Holgate, Mina, Gordon, Gbamin, Davies, Dobbin.
