I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here fans have gone into meltdown after ITV bosses have dropped the first teaser of the 2021 series.

As this year's contestants gear up for all the gruesome tasks and challenges that Gwrych Castle has in store, I’m A Celeb producers have kept the ball rolling – and their new teaser video has sent excited fans into overdrive.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday ahead of the second Wales-based series, ITV posted a short clip of a knight in armour riding a horse across uplands to the famous I'm A Celebrity theme tune.

I’m A Celebrity fans were treated to a stunning view of the Welsch landscape as the mysterious knight and his horse galloped their way to the famous castle.

ITV shared the 10-second advert social media before presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly did the same, simply captioning the video: "Launch Knight is coming."

An official start date for the 2021 series is yet to be announced but if producers echo previous years, it's likely that the first episode will fall on or around November 14.

Although short and sweet, the ten-second teaser clip sent excited fans into overdrive as they flocked to share their glee.

“I literally couldn’t be more excited for this if I tried,” gushed one I’m A Celeb fan.

“THIS IS MAJOR!! So excited for this series,” another echoed.

“Anyone else just feel SO GRATEFUL for this one tiny bit of footage? EEEEEKKKK,” someone else chimed.

Meanwhile, a fourth added: “It can’t come quick enough! My day is made.”

The upcoming series will once again take place at Gwrych Castle in Abergele instead of the ever-famous Australian jungle.

Due to the ‘continued uncertainty’ around Covid-19 in Australia and the seemingly endless international travel restrictions, the celebs will take on the spooky castle once more.

Stars including Good Morning Britain star Richard Madeley, former Saturday’s singer Frankie Bridge, Strictly’s Arlene Phillips and EastEnders actor Adam Woodyatt are all rumoured to be joining the 2021 cast.
