Frankie Bridge is the latest name tipped to appear on I'm a Celebrity when it returns at Gwrych Castle next month.

The Saturdays star looks set to follow in the footsteps of her husband, ex-footballer Wayne Bridge, who appeared on the ITV series in 2016, as reported by the Mirror.

The regular Loose Women panelist, who has two sons with her husband, is said to have been offered a "bumper deal" to take part, according to a TV insider recently.

The rumour comes from the Sun, which reported over the weekend that the 32-year-old singer - who was previously a member of youth band S Club Juniors - had "signed up."

A source told the outlet: “Wayne really enjoyed his time in the Australian jungle, and Frankie is looking forward to giving the show a go too. She is pretty excited.

“She is nervous about leaving Wayne and the boys for such a long time, but she is determined to give the challenge her all and really throw herself in."

The source added: "Though with the show in Wales this year, Wayne unfortunately won’t be much help for tips."

And if Frankie is taking part in the series, it isn't just her husband that she can seek advice from as her bandmate Vanessa White competed on I'm a Celebrity in 2017.

I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here is set to return next month on ITV. The official line-up will be revealed in the coming weeks.
