Bollywood actor and filmmaker David Dhawan’s son Varun Dhawan made his acting debut in Karan Johar’s ‘Student Of The Year’ alongside Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. Since then, there has been no looking back for the actor has he created a niche for himself in the industry.

As Varun completed 9 years in the films today, the actor took to his Instagram story and shared a fan edit to celebrate his journey so far.Highlighting his acting career in the video clip through interviews, it read, “watch this to see varun from my point of view, and if you leave a genuine honest comment I swear it will mean the world to me.” “I just hope @Varundvn will see this and know how much he means to us” added the fan.

In a previous interview, when he was asked about his journey as an actor, Varun said that there is no particular pattern he follows while selecting roles; his main aim is that the film should be enjoyed by the audience. He also said that he doesn’t discriminate between his multiplex and single-screen films — his primary objective is to have as many people as possible see it. He shared that his concern was that none of his producers should lose any money and that it was a conscious attempt to make sure his films do good business.

On the work front, Varun will be next seen in ‘Bediya’ with Kriti Sanon. He also has ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ alongside Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor.
He was last seen in ‘Coolie No 1’ co-starring Sara Ali Khan.
